I have to admit that, before Ferguson, before New York, Florida, the violence in crime ridden areas, such as Chicago, Louisiana..., I did not pay much attention to the issues of racism, poverty, and the increasing devolvement of our society.
Now, I think about these issues, almost on a daily bases. I ask myself, how can I protect my own children from becoming victims of anyone of these blights on society. The truth is, I can't really. But there is one thing I can do, and that is to educate them as much as possible, so that they will have the best chance in life, and the best chance of survival.
WE ARE NOT POWERLESS.
I just tried my hand at writing for a Kindle Worlds. I found it to be very exciting. And I hope to do a lot more of these, in the future.
My resolutions for this year is to complete two novels and lose ten pounds. I will walk towards my goals instead of just talking about them. What about you?
